New Who DVD

For any Who fans out there: RUN DON'T WALK to the store and get "The Who at Kilburn 1977". The Who are the greatest band on the face of the earth and this DVD was "vaulted" for 30 years. Sure Counting Crows got to open for the Stones, Bob Dylan, etc. but I was only truly excited when we were touring with The Who. We opened the first show after John Entwhistle died, at the Hollywood Bowl. It was a sad, weird show and I was so looking forward to shaking Johns' hand. I did get to smash my bass in Seattle though (at The Gorge) at the end of our tour with The Who in '02. I did it for John since he never smashed a bass himself. Even though I took some heat from my bandmates for "being a geek" and "endangering the stage floor before The Who took the stage", I'm still REALLY GLAD that I did it - and I think my old bandmates are too.
